Personal Interests

Dr. Centeno enjoys writing and is the author of numerous books on orthopedics and regenerative medicine. He also maintains a daily blog to help patients navigate the latest regenerative medicine news and research. When he is not working, Dr. Centeno enjoys spending time with his family.
“Our website makes the bold claim that we invented orthopedic stem cell therapy. In fact, that’s true. I, and my partner, John Schultz, began using stem cells to treat orthopedic issues, like knee arthritis, shoulder rotator cuff tears, and low-back disc issues, back in 2005, before anyone else. It was years before there was even another provider interested. Hence, we’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t.”
